1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RosaryPath (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RosaryPath ("we," "us," or "our").

If you are under the age of 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms with you.

2 License to Use

RosaryPath grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download the App from the Apple App Store, install it on your personal iPhone or iPad, and use it for personal, non-commercial devotional practice. All rights not expressly granted remain with RosaryPath.

Under this license you may:

• Download, install, and maintain one copy of the App per Apple ID
• Pray with the Catholic and Lutheran resources provided for personal use
• Access free and RosaryPath Pro content according to your subscription status

This license does not permit you to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the App
• Distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App or its content
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the App for commercial purposes without express permission
• Share paid RosaryPath Pro features outside your household unless enabled via Family Sharing

3 Intellectual Property

Prayers, meditations, UI, typography, and software are protected by copyright, trademark, and other rights. Public-domain prayers (for example, the Our Father, Hail Mary, Luther's Morning Prayer) remain free to use, but the arrangement, artwork, and technology powering RosaryPath are proprietary.

• Curated Catholic and Lutheran devotions, including Regina Caeli, Angelus, and Augsburg resources
• Mystery meditations, audio narration, and reflection guides
• App design elements, typography systems, layouts, and interaction patterns
• Software code, data structures, and offline storage architecture
• Logos, icons, illustrations, and branding assets

You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt proprietary materials without written permission.

4User Conduct

You agree to use RosaryPath in a manner consistent with:

• Catholic and Lutheran teaching and values
• All applicable laws and regulations
• Respect for the sacred nature of the content

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to hack, interfere with, or disrupt the App
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Misrepresent your affiliation with RosaryPath
• Violate any intellectual property rights
• Use reminders, notifications, or widgets in ways that violate local laws or disturb others

5Service Tiers & Payments

RosaryPath's core experience is free: interactive rosary guidance, bundled Catholic and Lutheran prayer libraries, intentions, baseline streak tracking, Learning Center packs, and pastoral reflections. RosaryPath Pro is an optional subscription processed exclusively through Apple's in-app purchase system (StoreKit); we never handle or store your payment information or receipts.

RosaryPath Pro currently includes guided chaplets with narration, intention journaling, custom prayers, advanced analytics and Prayer Insights, adaptive coaching prompts, challenge catalog enrollment, iCloud sync plus manual encrypted backups, and premium themes or audio where available. Manual backups are encrypted with AES-GCM and protected by a password you choose; RosaryPath cannot recover forgotten passwords because the files never touch our servers.

Pricing: $4.99 USD per year (or the local App Store equivalent). Family Sharing is supported, and you may manage or cancel at any time via Apple ID settings. If Apple ever revises pricing or taxes, those changes are presented through Apple's storefront before you confirm a purchase.

6Disclaimer of Warranties

RosaryPath is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy of religious content

While we strive for accuracy in all prayers and teachings, we do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free from viruses or harmful components
• Religious content is completely without error

For spiritual guidance, always consult your pastor or spiritual director.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to optional features such as notifications, Live Activities, widgets, or adaptive prompts, which rely on Apple services outside our control.

7Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RosaryPath and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code
• Any errors or omissions in content

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

RosaryPath is not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, forgotten manual-backup passwords, iCloud storage limits, or other user-managed storage decisions.

8Religious Content

RosaryPath contains Catholic and Lutheran prayers, readings, and reflections, including the full Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Regina Caeli, Angelus bundles, Luther's Morning and Evening Prayers, and seasonal devotionals sourced from public liturgical calendars. While curated with care, the App does not replace magisterial teaching, denominational catechisms, pastoral guidance, or Scripture as proclaimed in your parish or congregation.

Always defer to your pastor, priest, or spiritual director for doctrinal questions.

9No Medical or Mental Health Advice

RosaryPath provides spiritual tools and religious content only. The App:

• Does NOT provide medical advice
• Does NOT provide mental health counseling
• Does NOT replace professional healthcare
• Should NOT be used in crisis situations

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact:

• Emergency services (911 in the US)
• National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 988
• Your healthcare provider
• A licensed mental health professional

Adaptive Coaching prompts within RosaryPath Pro are devotional encouragement only and are not medical or therapeutic interventions.

10Privacy and Data

RosaryPath collects no personal data, runs entirely offline by default, and stores all prayer history, streaks, intentions, reminders, and achievements on your device. Optional RosaryPath Pro features may store encrypted data in your personal iCloud account through Apple's iCloud sync services or create AES-GCM manual backup files that only you control. We run no analytics or trackers. Please review the Privacy Policy for full details.

11Updates and Changes

We may update the App from time to time, including:

• Bug fixes and performance improvements
• New features and functionality
• Updated content and prayers
• Design and interface changes

Updates may be automatic or require manual installation. We recommend keeping the App updated for the best experience.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time, with or without notice.

Widget designs, notification schedules, adaptive coaching rules, and other surface details may change as we refine the experience while keeping the core rosary content intact.

12Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Significant changes will be announced through:

• In-app notifications
• The Release Notes card located under Settings
• Notices on our website or direct email replies (if you have contacted us)

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13Termination

You may stop using RosaryPath at any time by:

• Uninstalling the App from your device
• Ceasing to access the App

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Illegal or harmful conduct
• Abuse or misuse of the App

However, since we collect no personal information and have no user accounts, practical enforcement is limited.

We may disable future access to Pro-exclusive features if Apple revokes a subscription, detects abuse, or issues a refund outside its policies.

14Third-Party Content

Scripture passages for mystery prompts and reflections are primarily sourced from the King James Version or other translations as noted within the App. Challenge templates and seasonal reminders may reference public liturgical calendars or lectionaries from Catholic and Lutheran publishers.

Traditional prayers are in the public domain. Where hymns or readings require permission, we cite the translation and copyright holder within the relevant module.

15Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved via binding arbitration in Fulton County, Georgia, except where prohibited by law, and you consent to such jurisdiction and venue.

16Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

17Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RosaryPath regarding the use of the App.
